Sanjay Mundra

With an extensive background in hospitality and real estate underwriting and executive management, Sanjay Mundra has expertise and experience in identifying and capitalizing on real estate investments. As the founder and principal of Soleil Group, a fully integrated real estate company operating full-service hotels, luxury condominiums and Class A offices across North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, Mr. Mundra’s leadership and insight in operations and business planning contributed significantly to the company’s current $200 + million value.

Soleil Group is currently working on a $150 + million mixed-use project in Raleigh, NC called the Soleil Center which is a 42-story skyscraper that will have a 270 room Four Star – Four Diamond Westin Hotel. It will also have 55,000 sq. ft. of conference/convention center, 50 luxury condominiums, a specialty restaurant and bar, and a 9,000 sq. ft. full-service spa. Another current project is a $48 million waterfront luxury condominium project called SkySail Luxury Condominiums in New Bern, NC. This project is under construction. Also under development is the SkySail Yacht Club, which will be a 250 slip full-service marina.

Prior to his work with Soleil Group, from 1995 to 2003 Mr. Mundra was President and CEO of First American Hotels, Inc., which operated several full-service and limited-service hotels across the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.

Mr. Mundra graduated from the University of Bombay in India with a BA in Commerce and holds an MBA from Campbell University in North Carolina.
