Harold E. Youngblood, Jr.
Eddie Youngblood is the owner and president of National Power Corporation, a Raleigh, NC-based company providing power quality equipment and services to businesses of all sizes. He started NPC in 1990 as distributed computer systems became critical to business management. Customers have relied on the technical expertise and strong vendor relationships of NPC to manage their power quality issues for 16 years. NPC provides a variety of power solutions through multiple channels including end user, reseller and new construction. Currently, NPC boasts year to year sales growth of over 20%.
Previous professional accomplishments include establishing and managing sales operations for Exide Electronics, now Eaton Electrical. Over the course of his 12-year tenure there, Mr. Youngblood went from handling a $3 million territory to managing a $55 million book of national business. Eaton Electrical is a primary vendor and partner for NPC today. Youngblood has business relationships that are built on over 25 years of successful transactions in the region. Mr. Youngblood served for 6 years in the U. S. Air Force as an aircraft commander on worldwide missions in large transport aircraft. He is a 1971 graduate of North Carolina State University where he received a BS in Industrial Engineering. Eddie remains active in the University’s affairs.
