John N. Anthony, Jr.

Mr. Anthony serves as the Company’s Chief Administrative Officer. He is responsible for the retail banking, marketing and deposit gathering efforts, plus will oversee the human resources and mortgage functions. He has seventeen years of banking experience and spent the past nine years with Raleigh based Capital Bank, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer. He has a strong retail and marketing background and will play a key role in building a sales and service culture throughout the Bank. Mr. Anthony is a 1987 graduate of East Carolina University and in 2001 completed the BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking in Madison, WI. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Triangle United Way and has been very active in civic and non-profit activities.
