Timothy S. Day

Mr. Day serves as the Company’s Chief Credit Officer. He is responsible for managing the credit quality and profitability of the bank’s business, retail and mortgage loan portfolios. He also serves as Loan Compliance Officer and CRA Officer. Mr. Day started his banking career in 1981. Prior to joining TrustAtlantic Bank, he spent 15 years with BB&T, serving as Senior Credit Officer for the Northeast and Western Regions of North Carolina and as Regional Loan Administrator in Winston Salem. The majority of his career has been in commercial banking, with over ten years in a credit administration capacity. Mr. Day is a 1981 and 1986 graduate of Concord University and a 2002 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU.
